Polypropylene — PP Talc Filled 30%
Polypropylene, also known as PP, is among the most economical thermoplastic polymer today. However, it has the lowest density among commodity plastics, making it lighter in weight.
PP can be used as an engineering polymer as it is usually tough and flexible.
Adding 30% talc in PP significantly increases impact strength, heat, creep and chemical resistance. In addition, it increases dimensional stability even after moulding. It also helps reduce the sink marks on products. With talc filler in PP, the parts in the mould cool faster than unfilled ones.
