Polycarbonate — PC Translucent

Polycarbonates, also known as PC, are naturally transparent with outstanding strength, stiffness and impact resistance. PC is comparable to glass in terms of transparency. However, some polycarbonate grades are not entirely transparent, allowing only some light to pass through. For example, the Smoke Grey grade is dark in appearance and provides shade and reduction of light. This property is applicable in helmet visors and car door visors.
